Max Allegri gave Enzo Barrenechea his Juventus debut last night against PSG and the Argentine midfielder is delighted.
He came on as a late substitute for Juan Cuadrado as the Bianconeri chased the game against PSG.
His debut means he is one of several Juventus Next Gen players Allegri has debuted in recent weeks and will work hard to earn more minutes.
Juve have some of the best youngsters in Italian football in their youth squad and have proven to be an excellent supplier of talent for them in recent games.
Barrenechea would have seen Nicolo Fagioli and Fabio Miretti settle into the first team squad and dreamed that one day his chance would come.
After he arrived last night, he said via Tuttomercatoweb:
“All the sacrifices I have made since I was a child have paid off, I am experiencing a moment of incredible happiness. We played a great match. During the ninety minutes, PSG deserved to win at the end, but we managed to keep up with them from start to finish. my growth? I am improving day by day both technically and mentally”.
