Adrien Rabiot to Stay at Juventus, Amidst All Transfer Rumours

French international Adrien Rabiot is reportedly not leaving Serie A giants Juventus in the January transfer window.

After passing through the academies of Creteil, Manchester City, Pau FC and Pole Espoirs, French midfielder Adrien Rabiot joined the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy.

The midfielder later graduated from the PSG academy and was promoted to the senior team. The Frenchman then joined Toulouse on loan for more first-team opportunities. The midfielder returned to PSG after the end of his successful loan deal. After his return, Rabiot little by little established himself as a starter in PSG’s midfield.

The midfielder lifted eighteen major trophies with the French club, including 5 Ligue 1 titles. Rabiot left Paris in 2019 and joined Italian giants Juventus. The midfielder has also represented France in international football. He was part of the French team that lifted the 2021 UEFA Nations League.

Adrien Rabiot will stay at Juventus, amid all the transfer rumors

Adrien Rabiot had a slow start to his Juventus career. The midfielder failed to consistently perform at the highest level in the early seasons. It was then rumored that he would leave Juventus and Manchester United in the last summer transfer window.

However, an agreement was never reached and Rabiot remained in Turin. Since then, the midfielder has been one of Juventus’ best players this season. The midfielder has already scored five goals in all competitions.

However, the transfer rumors never left him. He was recently linked with a move to Chelsea in the January transfer window. But now, the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the French international will stay in Turin.

In his daily column for CaughtOffside, Fabrizo Romano said: “There have been new transfer rumors about Adrien Rabiot, but I am not absolutely sure that he will leave Juventus in January.”

Adrien Rabiot’s contract with Juventus will expire at the end of the season. Juventus is currently struggling with financial problems. Earlier, Rabiot rejected Manchester United’s decent proposal. Therefore, it is expected that Juventus will not be able to retain him beyond this season.

But from now on, he stays in Turin. This is a huge boost for Juventus, who are currently struggling. Massimiliano Allegri’s side have won seven of their first thirteen games of the season. With twenty-five points, they are currently in fifth position in the table.

His performance in European competition has been even poor. Juventus failed even to progress to the next stage of the UEFA Champions League after losing five of their six group stage matches. His main goal of the season now is to do well in the Europa League and finish in the best Serie-A foyer.
