‘Revealed by player’s father’ – Fabrizio Romano drops interesting transfer update for Liverpool fans

Liverpool could be completely out of the running for the highly rated Brazilian youngster Endrick and PSG continue to push for the player’s signing.

Fabrizio Romano’s tweet update on the situation follows the revelation from the player’s father that the French outfit is the “only club” to have opened negotiations.

The Reds were thought to have some interest in the teenager (as previously reported by Sky Sports), although there has been little progress on this front.

Palmeiras recently valued Endrick at £35m (Sky Sports), although there is an expectation this could rise exponentially.

While it would be a shame to miss out on such talent, our current transfer model focuses on delivering players in the 20-24 age range and around who can deliver relatively instantly.

Simply put, however, the 16-year-old is not what Liverpool needs at the moment amid ongoing middle-of-the-park concerns.
