Former Palermo manager Rino Foschi has commented on Juventus’ struggles this season and believes injuries have played a role in their poor performance.
Juve are punching below their weight and this has been one of their worst campaigns in recent times.
The bianconeri can end it worse than the previous one if things don’t change because those above keep winning.
They bolstered their squad in the latest transfer window with some good players and fans expected them to mount a serious title challenge.
However, between their summer signings, Angel di Maria is often injured and Paul Pogba hasn’t even kicked a ball for them yet.
Foschi believes that injuries have interrupted his season and that he could respond in the January transfer window.
He said via Tuttojuve:
“Juventus has been penalized for injuries, surely they will do something. I don’t wait for the market for the rest of the operations”.
Juve FC says
We have suffered different injuries this season, but that is not a good excuse for our poor performances.
The players who have consistently played for us have good qualities, but they are not giving their best on the pitch.
This is one reason why the team is working for wins.
