Jorginho is a player that Juventus have targeted for some time now and the midfielder remains on their radar.
Juve know that his contract with Chelsea is due to expire soon and they have been monitoring his situation at Stamford Bridge.
The midfielder is in the sights of several clubs on the continent, as he has shown that he is one of the best midfield teachers.
However, he wants to stay in England and his priority is to sign a new contract with Chelsea.
Reports recently revealed that he also has interest from Barcelona and AC Milan, but his agent, Joao Santos, has maintained that they are now focused on a renewal with Chelsea.
He said via The Daily Mail:
‘It is not true that I have known [Barcelona director] German Matthew.
‘Our priority is to extend with Chelsea; That is the only club I have spoken with in recent weeks, Jorginho’s future is at Chelsea.
Juve FC says
Jorginho enjoys being one of Chelsea’s key men and it’s hard to convince players to leave when they feel relevant.
However, the Blues might not feel the same way and might be willing to trade him at the end of this season.
If that’s the case, we could catch our man sooner than we expect.
