Juventus have been put on alert as it looks like Memphis Depay could leave Barcelona in January.
The Bianconeri sought a deal for the Dutch international in recent seasons since he played for Lyon.
He left the French club for Barca last season and the Bianconeri remain interested in bringing him into their squad.
He was prepared to terminate his contract with the Catalans to move to the Allianz Stadium in the summer, but was unable to find a deal with Juve.
After struggling to play in Spain this season due to Robert Lewandowski’s superb form, he could now ask to leave in January.
A report on Calciomercato reports that the Dutchman is considering a winter transfer and this has put Juve on high alert.
Juve FC says
Depay has been on our radar for some time and seems like a player Max Allegri wants to work with.
If that’s the case, we should do everything we can to add him to our team before another suitor does.
We need to make new contacts with his environment to give us an advantage over the other clubs that want his signature.
Otherwise, we might lose it.
